Libre II Issues

Hi! I expected to be posting about myself or replying to an appropriate post.

However, I have had two consecutive sensors fail in the same way?! I put them in, scan to start and after an hour it cames up with "Signal Loss" and then a modal dialogue box asking you to scan the sensor. However, if I do this it just restarts the hour countdown.

The phone is a Google Pixel 6 running Android 14. Sensors are from different parts of the UK so don't think it can be a faulty batch The sensors are Libre 2, 14 day ones.

Thank in advance, MikeyBikey

You need to report them to abbot.

Sorry to read this @MikeyBikey, definitely not what you need right now on top of everything else you are going through, obviously Abbott (after you’ve reported the faulty sensors) will replace them for you FOC :thankyou: but reading this post you want a working sensor right now on you
are you still in hospital I’m thinking you might be :care:

I started a Chat with an Abbot yesterday A short while in they needed some information from the About section in the LibreLink software. When I switched back to the Chat window it had closed! Then a hospital interrupt came along and afterwards there really was not enough time to follow. Today I keep getting "No agents are available"! Frustrating as I am loathe to put on another sensor after two Signal Losses!

Can you use the online form instead of a chat agent?

Sorry to hear about your sensor fails @MikeyBikey :(

Hope you can get hold of Abbott without too much faff tomorrow

I posted this as part of another thread but feel it it is actually more relevant to this thread

I got nowhere with my support chat with Abbot as they just shut the chat! I as going to call on Friday but a senior nurse said she knew all about Libre and after getting nowhere started with my spare sensor and by 6:00 we still had "SIGNAL LOSS"! On Saturday a DSN came along with àa really arrogant attitude to sort it. Result "SIGNAL LOSS"!!! Some have complained my phone is locked but I pointed out "my phone and my data"! If the Reader doesn't have issues it may be the way to go. My clinic want a smart phone but need to respect it is the patient:s property not the Libre set up.

Still haven't contacted support - the number of interrupts continues to amaze me. The sensor pointlessly put on on Saturday now informs me it is a faulty sensor!
