Am thinking of starting it again Theres a pool a taxi ride away that has easy access chairs (they lift you in and out) Cant get in/out any other way or on my own. Though i would go once a week with staffs help. Know it will cost a bit with taxi fares etc. However i want to start excersising in a way thats safe for my knee etc
Will keep you posted
PS
first i have the fun of getting a new swimsuit as old one is far to big. Might go for a Tankie (separate top and bottoms)
im down to 17 stone from 26

Wow, go you 9stone is a lot. Enjoy your swim

Well done @gail2 6st is impressive and now swimming, even more impressive :star:

Go for it! We have a lady who comes to our aquafit classes, and uses the lift to get in and out. She stays close to the side so she can grab the rail if need be.

I do like a tankini for ease of getting it on and off or when needing a wee. Don't get one with a frilly skirt though (my mum bought me one) - it floats up on the surface of the water like an annoying jellyfish!

Don’t make mistake I did on Saturday and go swimming but when it’s closed. Apparently it doesn’t count as swimming if you only go to the car park
