Tonight Alex has gone to a concert (asia in cardiff) with his dad. Before he left at 4.30pm he was 8mmols - he didnt have any food or snacks on the way and has just phoned to say he is 10.4 pre meal! How on earth can that happen? Bev

Sitting still with no exercise if in a car would be my guess.
 
Perhaps he was excited? That could raise his levels a bit, in the same way that stress can.
