I still keep a food diary but only for new foods and to see the effect they might have I was showing the diary to a fellow T2 who made such a great comment. He said, with these low numbers and all the food I know you eat, does your body actually understand you are diabetic?:rofl::rofl::rofl:.

I remember the confusion over your diagnosis initially @Sharron1

Aside from that one outlier result, your glucose levels have been firmly blow the diagnosis zone haven’t they!

Yes, the outlier was the very first one (lost and found und sample) that was the start of the diabetes journey. I sort of get on with it now as I cannot turn the clock back. All the Hba1c results have been wandering around mid to upper 30s, which is fine. But oddly enough when Hba1c time arrives there is always a little nag that this might be the time I get caught out.

Prof Roy Taylor said, 'Show me a Type 2 diabetic and I will show you a fatty liver'.

Your numbers are in the normal range indicating normal liver fat.

As far as I know your body has no reason to know you are diabetic or might have been diabetic once.

I also doubt if my body is that smart, but as a throw away comment/joke it made me laugh.
