Dog owners will understand

I’d take it on. But seriously. I’m thinking of a rescue hound. Nothing too young? Wife & I have plans for travel first.
Jenjen is not for rehoming, we took her on when she was 18 months as a rescue and she has now been with us and our other dog for nearly two years. She's a real little darling, BUT, some rescues do have issues, so just be warned and go to a reputable rehoming charity who will tell you of any issues.

I am very passionate about animals and dogs in particular, the only voice they have is ours and our voice should be loud and clear on their behalf.

Rehoming a dog can be so rewarding, but trust me, the dog will appreciate it more than you can ever imagine.

Enjoy your hols/travels and then adopt when it's right for you

On her birth certificate her name is Jenna, but in foster care they called her Jenjen, so we just kept the name that she knew

I was joking about Jenjen. I had a dog once. He died a ripe old age. (Rescued & distrusted other men. But somehow it picked me.) Even looked suspect at my wife if she took the leash? Travelled Europe with him too? But my wife & I plan further afield. Just wouldn’t be fair on any dog at this point.

Sorry Quill but 2nd best dog name ever.We have one called Haggis which we claim as the best 🙂
Haha! Haggis is amazing!
I am also a Jen so double the claim 😎

I wonder if this is familiar to any other dog owners…

Marvin rejects this outrageous accusation completely. He has NEVER done this. (He says).

If my wife got up from the sofa & left me for a couple of minutes. Ours would move into her spot next to me? Then cop attitude when she came back. Fair enough, my wife never let him in the bedroom. If she was up before me? I could hear him padding about (laminate flooring, his claws would “tick.”) once he’d established she was in the shower. The bedroom door would push open & in he’d come. 🙂

If you ever wondered :confused:IMG-20250318-WA0001.jpg
