Had early night last night my libre went off low glucose, which I never heard hubby woke me up. It then went off again but was not loud, had a look on libre website says to switch off override and do not disturb in libre app, I don’t have do not disturb on phone. Any suggestions to make it louder

Some people put it in a glass tankard or jam jar or other heavy glass or enamel mug by the bed to amplify the sound. If you were getting the alarms but it wasn't loud enough, then it isn't the do not disturb feature..... or was it just vibrating and not ringing?

I have an old iphone 8 and one of the reasons I went back to my reader was that the alarm was so loud during the night that it panicked me and in my hypo state I couldn't figure out how to cancel the alarm and focused on that instead of treating my hypo as the shrill noise was just panicking me more and it just made the hypo so much worse to manage.

No was ringing just not loud enough, hubby said it went off 4 times, he was still up and in next room and when he didn’t hear me up he woke me up. I was about to do a finger prick when it went off again but not loud

Did you check the reading with a finger prick?
If it kept going off it could have been a compression low. That is not a reason to ignore it but important to check before treating.
Compression lower are most likely to happen at night when you lie on your sensor which applies pressure and blocks flow of interstitial fluid. So the sensor will report a false low.

My Android phone alone with just the rattle wakes me before the alarm kicks in. Part of the Ikea side stand top is like a flat glazed tile which causes it to clang against the metal frame. I’d make less noise doing DIY?

Yes i have updated my phone. Don’t have a lot off night lows, but have noticed louder through the day
Sounds like you know what you are doing regarding the tech & the right enquiries. Lows from sleep depending on how low it actually is. can make me a little slower to react to an alarm? Especially when I’m in the mindset on a weekday with another alarm set for work. You’re not leaving your phone on any form of soft furnishing or clothing which could muffle the speaker? (Pending where the speakers are on the unit.) From my experience, I’ve been known to find my phone on a pile of clothes in the past.

No it’s on bedside table on top off jewellery box. Just don’t understand how a never herd it, but hubby said I was dead to the world and snoring, which I don’t believe
