Woke up at a very reasonable 6.0 at 5.30 am after being in range all night, got up and went to work, now 13.1 and rising at 9am. Eating breakfast or not makes no difference. It won't start to go down until about 11.30am.
Really hoping I can get this bolus insulin at my next appointment!

Without bolus insulin, there is very little you can do about that. Exercise in the evening can sometimes help, but not always convenient. Very frustrating seeing it happen and know that there isn't anything you can do. All evidence that you need a bolus insulin though. 2 units before I get out of bed makes all the difference in the world to preventing that for me.
