To be inclusive to non-Christian celebrations such as Hanuka.Nice touch from Dexcom - but why say "Happy Holidays" rather than "Happy Christmas"? Woke madness
I am not sure it is about being offended by the use of the word Christmas, but perhaps that it may just be inappropriate for some customers to receive a Christmas card. Consider if it was the other way around and perhaps the business was owned by a Jewish family and decided to send out cards and gifts saying Happy Hanuka to every customer. I can imagine that could easily offend some people of other religions or you might find it very odd and inappropriate to receive such a card. You might argue that we are predominantly a Christian country but I would doubt that is the case these days and should we purely cater to the majority anyway. I'm not overly keen on the extremes that wokeness has been taken to but from a business point of view, it makes sense to alienate as few people as possible.I do get that to an extent, but I have friends from multiple religions - none of them find the word Christmas offensive - just as I don't find Hanuka, Eid etc. etc. offensive either - the majority of them also give gifts to each other on the big day as well - I think that kind of virtue-signalling makes more division (I'll get off my soap box now!)
