50-odd years a West Ham fan.

Good to see Royals up at the other end of the table. Shame they can't get rid of the current owner.

Absolutely not
I remember hearing that chant as a kid at Villa Park and loved the self deprecation, on a whole new level - it was the early rounds of a cup on a wet miserable night. Millwall had brought a lot of fans but the ground was only half full. Dreadful game if I remember rightly and Villa had rested a few players - I was invited with my Dad (a referee) to a box and I got to meet a few players. A very young Dwight Yorke was charming - sat with me chatting about hockey (I had just got into the county team and he wanted to know about the sport). Paul McGrath walked in, straight to the bar, downed a large whiskey and a pint, then picked up a second pint and walked over to talk to people - I remember my Dad nudging me "don't stare!".

Haha - I've been to a couple of West Mids teams clubs over the years and alway found them very good fun - funny you say your dad is a referee and you were interested in Hockey - I am currently a regional umpire in Hockey myself and travel all over the South East to umpire games (It's my main source of exercise (Unfortunatley not income though as it's all done for the love of the game minus expenses!))

Yeah, I played for Cannock from the age of 12, back when they started to win titles etc until I headed off to university. I also ran (hurdles) for Birchfield Harriers and was in the County squad. I moved to Surrey at the turn of the century and have lived down here since. Gave up hockey in my mid 30s after too many osteopath appointments!

We are in talks with another potential owner (again), just hope Dai yongge doesn't move the goal posts at the last minute and scupper the deal. (not sure who this one is) He has owned two other clubs who now now longer exist :(

Good draw last night, considering most of our players are from the academy and are under 20, one of our full backs is only 16.
Oh the joys of supporting Reading !!

Rangers FC. My dad first took me in 1970.

I’ve written two books about them and have started work on a third.

They are having a terrible season so far but are managing to do well in The Europa League.
