Hi all,

Just seen CBeebies have posted that James Norton (the British actor with T1) will be on bedtime stories Friday 14th reading How to manage a mammoth.
It’s a book about type 1 diabetes for children.

Great to have this type of awareness on a wide platform.

Thanks,

Phoebe

Amazing!

I was at the TAD event in London (Talking About Diabetes) where James came and talked about his experience of living with diabetes and shared some hilarious stories of dodging impending on-stage hypos. Such a lovely bloke!

Yes I have heard him talk about sewing secret pockets in period costumes for his sweets / glucotabs and how backstage he has sweets labelled just as his with the food.
I do like him. He would be good as bond

I look forward to hearing this Phoebe. Thanks for putting it on here.

I think the story is written by a consultant that I was once vague
in contact with forma project - Dr Rose Stewart
