Hey all

So as the title says I've recently been diagnosed with T2 (HaBc1 of 87mmol) AND high cholesterol (5.5 with a total 3.9).
I had an appointment with the nurse on Friday morning. She told me to look at this site for the advice regarding diabetes and what to eat, then referred me to the British Heart Foundation website to see what foods to eat/avoid to lower my cholesterol.
Between the 2 I'm literally left with about 3 things I can eat. There are more options, but I don't like them - I don't like lean meats really, except chicken occasionally, I dont like raw nuts, oily fish.....so it's salad, some veg and chicken. I've lost ALL interest in eating, like completely, I've not eaten since Thursday because I just can't force myself too.
Is anyone else in the same situation, who can give me examples of what they eat?
Thank you 🙂
If you give us an idea of what foods you like then people could make suggestions. There surely must be foods you like in menu plans in the links that people have posted in your other thread.
There is some examples of what people have in the thread Food ideas with photos.
