I discovered in work a lovely granola which is really nice and low in carbs.
It's the M&S collection grain free fruit and nut granola. It's only 3.7g carbs per 45g, which is plenty with my protein yogurt and berries.
My breakfast comes in at about 15g of carbs in total, sometimes less depending on how many berries I have. But usually its 6 raspberries, 8 blueberries and 2 or 3 strawberries.

I like the low carb score but I'm wary of the saturated fat content - 9.5g per 45g portion, close to half the RDA for a woman, a third of the RDA for a man.

This is why avoid all those Keto products.
Having said that, despite not having much saturated fat cholesterol goes up and down with every blood test!

My gp isn't worried about the fat content of it when I showed him. My last overall cholesterol was 2.6. He was happy enough with where the fat was coming from, nuts, seeds, coconut. So I'm not too worried about it.

Mine is also dismissive of RDAs. In fact I've also seen a WHO scattergraph that showed no significant difference between the incidence of CVD amongst people with high cholesterol and those with levels considered to be good. The RDA narrative is still embraced by bodies like the NHS and BHF though.

My most recent overall cholesterol was 4.4, so could be lower but down from 5.1 at the time of my T2 diagnosis.
