Hi everyone

I'm a newbie on this forum. I have been diabetic type 1 since 1992. Have belonged to Diabetes Uk for a number of years but
not used the forum.

Welcome to the forum @Blue 1

We’ve been pretending to be our pancreases for about the same time… How have things been going for you?

Are you on pens or pump? Do you use a sensor?

Anything in particular that has prompted you to reach out to the forum at the moment?

Thank you Mike for welcoming me to the forum.

Ever since I was diagnosed I have never been stable. Levels constantly on the low side so I would be on the high side,
like a roller coaster. I am using pens for both NovaRapid and Levemir insulin. I was set up with the Libre2 October 2021.
It made a big difference and gave me confidence. At the moment I am waiting for funding for a pump, as my levels
are high in the morning and I am having trouble injecting due to weight loss.

The reason for getting intouch with the forum is due to using an Iphone 6 that needs replacing and hopefully when I get a pump I would have to change phone anyway. I wasn't sure what Iphone to upgrade to, so I posted a thread on the pump site. Which was helpful.
