Morning, what is it about those pesky needle tabs, I do my best to dispose of them, and I still find them everywhere, I'm haunted by them, once found one floating in my red wine bottle, I know how? On another occasion I found one under a plant pot, impossible, they are out to get me. Where is the most unusual place you have found them?

Why on earth do you completely remove them from the outer needle cover? It's not necessary - just leave the last little bit attached, you can quite easily then screw the needle onto the pen, remove the inner cap and put that in the outer cap till the next time you go in the kitchen and chuck both in the bin.
 
I’ve never found them anywhere, I don’t take them off. Just peel back enough to insert needle
