Hi

Are you just new on here but diagnosed for a while, or is your type 2 diagnosis new as well?

Hi I just found last week I'm type 2 and new on here.
Was it a shock or something you were thinking was possible? Mine was found in a routine health check and was completely unexpected (I knew I had risk factors so wouldn't have been too surprised to be told pre-diabetic but wasn't expecting to be told I was already above the diabetic line).

Have you been told your exact HbA1c (the number that shows whether you're diabetic or not - 48 or above is diabetic but some members had one over 100 at diagnosis)? It can also help folks to answer any questions you have if you're willing to share what (if any) medication you've been prescribed.

Hi michelle777, welcome to the forum.

When you're ready, feel free to share more about yourself, have a look around and let us know if we can help in any way.
