Hi All , I have my annual diabetes review with my DSN tomorrow.
Bloods, Wee , Feet and weight.
For some reason they requested a fasting blood test, so no brekkie for me ☹️

Possibly for the full lipids breakdown, but there's a chance it's just habit so if it's an annoying restriction for you you might try asking whether it's necessary or not.

I have to arrange my bloods myself before my annual review.
I can schedule it when I want (assuming there is an appointment available with the phlebotomist). I always go for a fasting test. This is partially in case they do a lipid test but mainly for my convenience -I can get it done before I start work. It also means I always compare apples with apples when I look back over previous years.

Hope the review and toe tickle goes well @Martin62
