It's said I'm a 42 ln HBA1C test... So I want to change my diet.
That is just at the bottom end of prediabetic in the UK so some modest changes to your diet should be sufficient to take you below that to normal and more importantly stop it going up.
Reducing the amount of carbohydrates by limiting portions of high carb foods and restricting the foods like cakes, biscuits, sugary drinks to the occasional treat.
Some suggestion for where you might make some changes in this link https://lowcarbfreshwell.co.uk/ but just go slowly and make minor changes.
