Good morning I hope that you are well especially after the hot spell of weather, at the moment I am using Medtronic 740G, taking NovoRapid and I have been taking this insulin since 1992/3 it seems to work very well for me, and I do use the Libre Sensor 2. How are you?
Good morning, I hope that you are keeping well? Being a Type 1 diabetic for the last 30 years have had its fair share of up and downs but on the whole it is a big learning curve and I will be still on the path of learning for the foreseeable. looking forward to having a chat sometime 🙂
Good morning to you, I hope that you are enjoying the hot weather I'm glad it has cooled a little in Wales 🙂 , Well here goes, I live in North Wales, married with a grown up son and a dog, I have had Type 1 diabetes for the last 30 years without, touch wood too much trouble, just a little cataract starting but that is in the family history but otherwise I am fit and healthy apart form the little extra weight due to being menopausal too.
Any tips on how to lose weight and being menopausal right now would be of help I guess. 🙂

Yep, two a month for me too - which is a bit annoying as if the second sensor is faulty, then I have no back-up sensor until the replacement from Abbott arrives.
I’m feeling better in anticipation of this oppressive heat easing. For the first time ever, the heat has played havoc with my blood sugars and I’ve felt quite panicky about it.
Hi, yes the heat usually plays havoc with my control but this time it was ok, I'm a bit surprised to be honest.

Hi, I’m also using a pump. I use the Medtronic 670G. Hope your well☺️30 years is a very long time, I’ve been diabetic for 14 years. Are you finding it easier to manage as time goes on?
Hi Karen70, glad your 30 year journey hasn’t been too troublesome. I was talking yo my mum recently about all the changes in the past 30 years that we’ve seen and we were wondering what would come next! (Obviously super grateful for the closed loop system we have now but still…)

Hi Karen
How are you getting on with your pump. Good to hear that you have the Libre.
Have you thought of teaming up your pump with a sensor in a closed loop, such as the 780. I know that it is not a cure but it certainly leaves me a lot more time to think about other things, now that my pump has taken on quite a bit of my work.
