Good morning to you, I hope that you are enjoying the hot weather I'm glad it has cooled a little in Wales 🙂 , Well here goes, I live in North Wales, married with a grown up son and a dog, I have had Type 1 diabetes for the last 30 years without, touch wood too much trouble, just a little cataract starting but that is in the family history but otherwise I am fit and healthy apart form the little extra weight due to being menopausal too.Hi Karen70, welcome to the forum.

Hi, yes the heat usually plays havoc with my control but this time it was ok, I'm a bit surprised to be honest.Yep, two a month for me too - which is a bit annoying as if the second sensor is faulty, then I have no back-up sensor until the replacement from Abbott arrives.
I’m feeling better in anticipation of this oppressive heat easing. For the first time ever, the heat has played havoc with my blood sugars and I’ve felt quite panicky about it.
