Hey all.
I'm Nigel, been diabetic ( type 2) for around 15 yrs and my bloods are all over the shop! :( my last HbA1c check ( 09.08.2022 ) was 81:confused:That has given me a propper kick up the a** to really try to do something about it.
I do not have any excuses nor am I trying to defend myself in any way shape or form, entirely my own fault for eating what I want and when I want.
I suppose the purpose of joining this forum is maybe to get a little help or suggestions from others who have found themselves in a similar situation but have turned it around.
Oh, I'm 56 btw and not overweight do lots of walking so pretty active.

Thanks guys/gals 😉

Hi Nigel, I had similar problems at first but it gradually got better as I slowly changed my diet, I am still overweight but not as much as I was, It is difficult for some of us to change our habits but it can be done ,one step at a time, we shop online now which saves me from looking at the food I used to eat, which was snacks mainly, full of salt, sugar and all manner of things, keep working on it

Hi John,
Thank you for your reply and it's appreciated. Yer it is difficult to avoid the really good tasty stuff, i.e crisps choccy and chips with bread and butter which is what I love the most.
I'll get there in the end now I know how bad I've got :D
