Apart from adding squash or cordial etc to plain tap water ....which is the only way I can drink water ......that's it isn't it ?

Even in this heat I really struggle to take on enough fluids

Ice helps. But you don’t have to drink just water. Anything that keeps you hydrated is fine. Don’t overthink it. I like iced tea, I don’t do well with caffeine so make up a jug of redbush and then stick it in the fridge and drink it over ice.

Still or carbonated flavoured water is another option, zero carb. Obviously more costly than tap water.

Though I'd watch out if you have a lot of coffee as its a diuretic and could cause you to 'pee' out more than you take in.

I drink water out of habit - I get up, go to the bathroom and there is a mug - I fill it and drink it down - same when going to bed. I don't even think about it really. I have coffee twice a day, squash and flavoured water, or cold teas in this heat - mint is nice and refreshing.

I have a silly habit, every car journey I take which is usually about 4-5 a day, I take a bottle off water and by the time I get back home I make sure I have drunk it. Sitting outside schools, clubs etc with nothing else to do I just get it down me. As I’ve had 4 hefty babies I’m basically completely incontinent but my skin is glowing lol

Volvic etc ?
Just be a little careful of some of the flavoured waters. Some of them have more sugars in them than some of us might like.

Some are fine, but others (and forgive me but I haven't committed them to memory) are just a bit rich.

Don't forget that in cooler times quite a bit of our fluid intake is in food, whether that be from casseroles, vegetables or salads.

As others have said, it is not just water that counts, tea and coffee do as done liquid in food such as soups, yoghurt, sauces,...

Sounds very sensible
