My daughter is currently in Tenerife just down the road from where I will be staying in August… she sent me a photo this morning of the breakfast bar. Hope my hotel has a little less carbs on the menu or I won’t need the return flight

If you've got a decent buffet breakfast, the thing to look for is the cooked to order section. I just had 10 days on Fuerteventura and a lovely selection of omelettes, or eggs cooked on the griddle with sliced tomato. Or yogurt with a little fruit. But most important - enjoy the holiday!

I'm off cruising in a week,so hopefully there's something decent to eat.
