I have been T2 for many years and never really achieved any weight loss on the old 'eat well plate' regime. However these past few months I have been on a couple of Low Carb information workshops and am raring to give this lifestyle a go as it makes so much sense to me.

However I am disabled and find cooking difficult, my husband resorts to bunging anything with chips and no veg into the oven most days and all my efforts of a healthy ish online food shop go in the bin at the end of the week!

Therefore my question is there a food box delivery service which offers Low Carb options? If the recipes and ingredients are all prepared then it's worth a trial to see if with his help we can create tasty and healthier meals and hopefully this will lead to weight loss and a happier mealtime too!

Thanks.

This is one I have come across https://www.greenchef.co.uk/

Iceland have some low carb curry ready meals.

But can you cook a batch of several portions and freeze some for your own 'ready meals'
Bagged salads and cooked meats are low carb, bags of frozen veg to add to casseroles, frozen microwave veg would all require minimal cooking.

There may be some easy low carb meals in this link. https://lowcarbfreshwell.co.uk/

Thank you! I did look at that website, unfortunately I had to sign up including my payment info before I could even view what was on offer, however despite there being a few tasty sounding options for me I doubt my husband would entertain any of them unfortunately. I then considered getting a box just for me and he can cook what he wants (despite needing to lose weight himself) but I know how difficult it is to have to keep cooking separate meals every day from fresh as it is. Therefore I might look into the suggestions you give like batch cooking in the Slow Cooker and freezing in portions, something I like to do in the winter but never thought about it in the warmer months, might also save an even hotter house! Thanks.

I hope you can find some options which suit you. My other half bought into the low carb regime but does have a few extras like biscuits and ice cream and a bit more bread but otherwise we have the same meals. He lost some weight which he needed to do.
