Hi @ErinM and welcome to the forum. As a type 2 I'm woefully ignorant of type 1 issues, apart from the fact it seems terribly complicated! But there are loads of people here who will be able to help...it is a veritable font of knowledge from lots of lovely people. Any questions just shout out and someone will help 🙂

Welcome to the forum.
I only became type1(officially type 3c) last September and have had and still are having struggles,all quite normal.Still learning each day.
I’ve had lots of help/ advice from forum members.
