Hi, Lez. Welcome to the Forum. Are you happy to share some information about yourself, eg how you came to be diagnosed, your HbA1c if you know it, any meds, what advice you got (if any) from your GP or Diabetes Nurse etc..???

It all started with getting my bloods checks for all sorts as my blood liver count wasn’t right an it came back as type 2 diabetes

It’s all just new to me so I’ve to speak to someone in my doctors about it. I must read up on what’s best to eat now an what to stay clear from as I’m not sure of the the good an bad

The Learning Zone (orange link in the main menu) is a great place to start. It’s packed with loads of bite-sized modules you can work through at your own pace 🙂

This is also a good link with explanation on the condition and a suggested way forward. https://lowcarbfreshwell.co.uk/. It will give you a good idea of what foods to avoid.
How much you need to do will depend on how far into the diabetes zone you are, a HbA1C of over 48mmol/mol gives you a diabetes diagnosis.
