I have been conducting a few so far.
Hungary has a difficult language.
I'm ok in most European countries, even if I don't speak the particular language, most countries have common roots, so some understanding is normally possible.
Not Hungary.
Some claim it's a Turkish derived language, some claim Scandinavian, either way, I've had some interesting drinks. And English isn't spoken by many locals, just the tourist places.
I found a few local shops and bars.
I found a few good local draft lagers.
Local wine that tastes more like an unsweetened sherry.
And a sweetened one.
Brandy (or possibly industrial de-icer) that is back sweetened to taste more like Southern Comfort.
Palinka, a fruit Brandy, eye wateringly expensive for a local spirit compared to imported Japanese whisky.
Still, I'll keep trying them, just for scientific purposes.

Out of curiosity why is this?

I was just joking with Travellor that if you were drinking something 85% proof then breathing near a naked flame might cause an explosion! :D
