Full Green Riced Cauliflower etc

Has anyone tried these FullGreen riced products yet? The contents are listed as you can see.
They do different varieties and I thought they may be useful for taking to work or a holiday for ease of use etc.
You can stir fry or microwave... 2mins.
Apparently don't store in a fridge before opening as they don't like it.
May be of some use to someone.
We found them in Waitrose near the rice and cost 1.35 a pack.
Maybe a bit pricey for some but I get priced above the norm. for my organic veg as I cannot eat things with chemical/pesticide spray.

People have discussed manufactured cauliflower rice before. The general opinion seemed to be that fresh is better and cheaper and that the manufactured products generally had a chemical smell/taste..

Looking on the internet, this particular product gets quite poor ratings although a few people liked it, most didn't.

OK. Wasn't aware of previous posts. Grating cauliflower seems such a chore thought it might help. Haven't socialised for a meal in 10 years now. Something I miss out on.

An electric chopper makes short work of making cauliflower rice, or indeed any chopped veg, Mine has a bowl which the blade fits into, then the lid fits and you just press down on it. It is a Bosch. It is surprising how much 1 80p cauliflower makes.

As a recent convert to Cauliflower rice I concur with posts above. I made my own fresh and tried the exact product you're asking about and there is no comparison. Fresh is ten times better and so much more economical too. The pouch of rice wasn't really enough for two decent portions, it smelt awful and was soggy. A fresh Cauliflower for 79p gave me four generous portions and it's a perfect substitute for rice.

I use it for the ingredients for a coleslaw, fresh herbs, stuff for stirfrys, burger ingredients, just don't put too much liquid in it. It always sits out on the worktop together with the hand blender for soups.

Some reviews say it leaks but that may be because of too much liquid as you say. I use a hand blender for soup. Some of the smallest gadgets are the most practical and useful. Thanks.

I had an ancient Moulinex elec liquidiser which came with a separate coffee grinder which I only ever used to make breadcrumbs or chopping nuts so nothing 'smelly' - so ideal for cauli rice hence I like the look of this Bosch chopper's jib without having to re-invest the family fortune in a Kenwood Chef, LOL.

Not ordered it yet as there are many variations in prices online. Balancing act with actual price and with added postage. You often have to go thru ordering to get delivery prices and/or paypal or card.

I like the full green pouches for convenience. They are pricey but I don’t think they taste bad. I add harissa paste and veg (usually green beans and spinach) and it’s a quick and easy meal.
