Unbelievable pharmacy

Went to pick up my repeats this afternoon, only to be told my insulin hadn't come in yet so said never mind will pick it up weds as had enough to cover me. Ok she said and went to walk away so I said what about the other stuff?
Oh we haven't done it up yet do you want it now as we will have to waste time sorting it all out and checking it?
So I pointed out that they had had the prescription on Monday, which in my book made 5 days to sort it out. It was also a 20mile round trip to pick up the prescription so their mess up meant a 40 mile round trip.
I was told that it was my problem not theirs.

Nope say's I you can deliver it free of charge when it's ready and it's the last time you will have my custom, it's not the first time you have done this to me but it will be the last.

Chemists don't generally make it up until they have all the items there, if I've been waiting longer on a text to say it's been dispensed then I call and if there's something not in yet they say they'll make the rest up so I can get that then if I need it so no wasted journey's for anyone xx

Hope you can find a better alternative closer-by @Pumper_Sue - that sounds dreadful!

Maybe their attitude comes from a scarcity of competition, and a large catchment of people with little choice?

Nah it's Covid you know 🙂 There are 3 other pharmacists in the same town, if I wanted to which I don't I could go in the op direction as there are quite a few there.
