How do you carry your diabetic gear.

So thought this might be fun. How do you all carry your diabetic stuff.

I have quite a trendy handbag/backpack and it goes with me everywhere..... to the stables everyday and out walking/running/riding and out socially although it is getting a bit tired and in need or replacement now.

When injecting, I used a Health Back Bag Baglett which I usually buy in a sale when I need a replacement.
I get rid of any cases that come with the kit because they just take up space.
The baglett has a zipped pocket in the front which I keep needles and lancets in and a little pocket inside for pens. Then the strips, small sharps bottle and GlucoTabs fit in the rest of the bag.
There's also enough room for a couple of credit cards, a phone and house keys so it's perfect for a day/night out.

Now I pump and have a Libre, I often just take out my phone and GlucoTabs if I am out for a couple of hours not too far from home. They just go in a jacket pocket or handbag if I am being posh ... or work bag in the days when I am not working from home.
If I am away for longer (or driving) I need to take finger prick meter and syringe.
If I am away for even longer (overnight) I need to also take all the pump change gubbins but don't have a special case for it - it just goes in my bag.

Like @helli I just take Dextro if I’m only out briefly. When I’m out for the day, I take my little rucksack or a bag - pretty much what I’d take if I wasn’t diabetic. I then take my meter in it’s case and usually put my insulin pen in too in case of emergencies (I’ve got a pump). I also make sure to take Dextro and a handy snack like a cereal bar or similar.

When I travel abroad, I use a larger diabetes/medical bag/case similar to a shoulder bag size. This holds my pump spares, etc, and has a mesh pocket on the outside that I can put my Frio in.

Small rucksack for me. My Libre and glucose tablets go everywhere with me but I rarely take insulin unless I'm going out of town.

This is my diabetic kit. It’s just a makeup bag from TK Maxx but I thought it was very appropriate. I just pop it in my rucksack inside a plastic bag when going out walking otherwise it just goes in my current handbag.

I ditch all the cases that come with pens etc as they take up too much room . Apart from my Libre reader everything goes in a large clear pencil case which I sling in my bag when I go out
The pencil case has a pocket where I keep some emergency money and medic alert card .

Here’s mine. It’s called Joe’s Small One. Think this is my third as I haven’t found out anything that suits me better...yet. Maybe I will see what pops up on this thread.

Throw it in my bag and keeps everything together...no rummaging. Snacks in bag. If I’m not going out for long it’s phone (reader for Libre) in back pocket and pastilles in my pocket.

I use this one. My lancer fits on the right side with test strips, expert meter, and half unit pen. in the mesh pouch I keep a couple of alcohol swabs, a tic tac box for used test strips, a handful of needles, an energy gel or lotus biscuit and mini roll of Parma violets or similar. I also have a mini dog tag (type actually intended for dogs) on the zip which has had me reunited with the case when I’ve lost it before. It’s much smaller than the huge cases I’ve seen so perfect for me.

Meter in a meter case. Pens etc always used to get carried in a pencil case. Cheap, convenient, compact, and easy to replace if I got bored with the design!
