Hey newbie just newly diagnosed. How many grams of carbs should I be keeping within per meal and how many grams of sugar per day. I'm type 2 had bloods of 89 and been given no advice off doctors.

The amount of carbs to eat is probably just less than the amount you can cope with - as we are all different the easiest way to find out what that is, is to use a low cast glucose meter and check before and after eating.
I use a Spirit Healthcare Tee 2+ meter, though not much these days.
Sugar is a carbohydrate, along with starches, they are digested and absorbed into the bloodstream, and stay there for too long, so removing the high carb foods, the very sugary or starchy foods, and replacing them with something lower is going to result in an ordinary type two going into remission and having normal numbers.
I find that being able to eat meat seafood eggs and cheese along with stir fries and salads, or making curries and stews pleases me far more than the stodgy stuff I was told was healthy and resulted in me becoming almost spherical by the time I was diagnosed.

I’d keep sugar to an absolute minimum, preferably none at all. For your carbs, try writing a food diary and add up what you were eating before diagnosis. You can then see what figure would be sensible to aim for as a reduced amount on your new diet.

I chose to go 60-80g per day initially. I've since experimented a little to work out carbs I can tolerate. Start with food diary and make tweaks to meals as you go so you build up your knowledge of what your body can handle in one go. Normal pasta meal sends you too high? Reduce the portion size the next time and so on.

You may find you are particularly sensitive to wheat or rice or certain pulses or fruit.

Best not to rush into changes as you can damage fine blood vessels permanently.
