I’ve not long been diagnosed they want me to try diet before going on medsSorry to hear you had a bad night sleep. How come you arnt taking meds for it? What does your doctor say. I don’t know much about the readings or the dry mouth as I’m new to all this. Amelie8.5
Oh I see. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis it must be hard for you. I haven’t had a diagnosis and I’ve just joined so I can’t advice but know you are not alone. I am here if you need to chat. Apparently on the diabetic first aid it says it’s not uncommon for people to be without meds when they have diabetes. Just saying. Apparently for some people they’d rather not take a load of pills and try to manage it on their own. So I completely understand you. Actually I think I would be the same! Hope you have a better night sleep tonightI’ve not long been diagnosed they want me to try diet before going on meds
Yes of course sorry I meant type 2. Actually now you say it type 1 must have to have meds to manage it because it’s worse and type 3? I’ve not heard of type 3 before. I’m really only learning. Thankyou for correcting me. I did say ‘some’ people with diabetes can manage without not meds. I was careful not to say ‘all’ that would be wrong. Thanks for helping@Amelie8.5 possible for Type 2's but not for Type 1's, Type 3c's etc, there are many Type 2's who aren't on medication and manage on either a low carb or keto diet and exercise alone so it's known it's not uncommon xx
It isn't any worse, just caused by different things, no Type is worse than the next as they all impact a persons life, there are more than just the 3 I mentioned and many only think there is Type 1 and Type 2 when that is not the case eitherYes of course sorry I meant type 2.
