did a random BG check last night and wasn't too bad 9.2 which is good for me. however if do feel that i am getting shaky quite a lot that it may be nose diving as that is what happened when i had a hypo.

if i do get symptoms then i will check straight away then deal with it and at the same time inform my diabetic nurse. i was warned on here that taking propranolol could mask hypos so now keeping a close eye on the situation.

Sounds very sensible Mikey 🙂

i noticed something yesterday and have seen some forum post about this. whilst waiting for the kind lady to bring dinner around i started getting really shaky which is suggestive that there may be not enough fuel getting in, may be wrong but with stress and infection it could be possible. after having the meal the shakiness after a lay down settled back down.

For me, Mikey, that would definitely be a time to test. It could have been a hypo, but it could just as easily have been that you were just plain old hungry.

... and for me. Anything weird - TEST!

well was talking to my partners doctor yesterday it was only to sort out some medications and just happened to mention the shakiness esp with the hands. it turns out that after running through some questions that i now have a specific diagnoses it is some kind of benign nerve issue so very not nice.

i honestly thought to god it was either stress, diabetes or Parkinson's setting in so wrong i was. this did start a few years ago and like an idiot just put up with it, the bad thing was my dad suffered with the same thing but wouldn't go to the doctors sounds a bit like me. the daft thing is i am on medication for the condition which i didn't know about does help to tell me.

i do still get hypos symptoms were so strange like sweat dripping from me to raging anger. once it is treated the symptoms settle down. what worries me is been on my own and having a hypo during my sleep that is one reason why social services want a small care package putting in place as it would be days before anyone found me.

interesting trying to eat as i chuck food over myself, bibs out 😉
