Freestyle Libre and iphone

Hi,
I have an iPhone7 plus on os 14.0.1. I am having real difficulty in scanning my sensor. I have constantly rebooted my phone, reinstalled the app, had trouble with 3 sensors since update of both the app and os. Is anyone else having these problems or any suggestions please.
 
Since I updated the app, it does seem a bit sluggish compared to how it was before. There seems to be a bit of a lag when I open the app and if I’m too quick hitting the check glucose button or add note button I sometimes get two pop ups for adding notes. It still scans the sensor OK, just slower than it used to.

I’m still on IOS 13.7 on an iphone7.

Have you tried contacting Abbott?

I’ve had no issues with mine.
 
Mine has also been sluggish since the last Abbott upgrade a few weeks ago (to get it ready for iOS 14, I believe). I am still on 13.7 also. I'm not getting the messages you have shown on the screenshot - that looks more like dud sensors?

My initial thought was a faulty sensor too, but 3 of them? I also thought it might be a problem with upgrading in the middle of an active sensor, but if three have been used I would guess a fresh sensor has been started since the upgrades and phone reboots.
 
I have not been using a phone app long enough to have an update but I do know with the Reader a while back it advised not to update until changed to a new sensor.

I have the same ios and I’m scanning, but i need to tap the very top of the phone on the sensor for it to pick it up?

Im not sure if ive upgraded to the latest app yet?!
 
Just checked 2.3.1.1361 is working for me with ios 14.0.1
 
Mine was fine with iOS update which I did Saturday and libre update which it did itself ......... until teatime today. Now it’s random and sporadic and messages saying scan in 10 minutes. I’ll ring Abbott to mention it tomorrow. I assume if enough people highlight it they may be able to do a fix. It also seems to read about 0.5 mmol about the actual libre reader machine.

I'm scanning at the very top. The Libre Software I am using is 2.5.1.2999............ Its getting me so frustrated.... it means I need to carry the reader as well. I keep ringing Abbott who have been really good but no solution yet. The phone is only 10 months old, just wondering if I should reset it to factory settings??

Have you tried turning your phone fully off and back on again? (Hold down the power button for 5-10s)

sometimes that works wonders!
 
I just got off the phone from talking with Abbotts. I use my iPhone 7 Plus and never had a problem until recently. They have just told me that the new sensors, with the extra alarm function, that require updating the app are not available in the UK at this time. They said to rectify the sluggish responses of my phone, often needing several attempts, I should switch my phone off then count to 10 before switching it back on. It has worked for me now but may reoccur again later. My view is get your act together Abbotts!

Yes I am having a lot of problems with mine. I contacted abbot but they say the app is not the problem, it must be my phone
 
I was told the same, I wonder how many people have been told it’s the fault of our phones?

Thanks Annemarie, I've switched my phone on and off more that I've had hot dinners!! Its so frustrating as Freestyle has revolutionised my life. My HbA1c has halved in 3 months!! I'm going to have to switch to the reader until they can get their act together. Can I ask which Version of Freestyle software you are using?? Mine is 2.5.1.2999
