I wonder if I am the only one to behave in this way. Received my Hba1c result and was pleased with it. Then went a little carb mad for a day to reward myself. Ridiculous. Have returned to regular diet.

Snap on the 36 this month! And no, not just you, snap on the behaviour ......

Hehe! I very much doubt you are alone @Sharron1

Feels like an easy day to slip a treat in, because it will be ages before you get the ‘official check’ again :D

That was exactly my thinking, but I felt it was less than 'grown up' to include that.

Don’t rush to grow up.
We deserve treats now and then.

Thanks, my carb fest after the Hba1c was a little pathetic, a packet of cheesy wotsits, a small muffin (super yum), some M&S chocolate. TBH, they were nice but not as nice as the anticipation of eating them. As for growing up, time has sorted that one for me...but I have my moments!

I have got a lot older, but not too grown up.
Keep having the moments.

My anticipation is the treat of a bacon bap and a big mug of coffee.
I have this straight after having my blood taken in a cafe opposite the Practice.
It is wonderful every time.

When I'm down to my target weight I shall certainly be having the occasional carby treat 😉
