There you go. All straight!Good morning - well, what a difference a day makes. Yesterday was so lovely and sunny. Today it's misty and drizzling and generally very miserable.
7.4 this morning.
Had a nice walk yesterday along the coast path towards Marazion. Unfortunately I put a pair of boots on, logic being that they had thicker soles than the light leather sneakers I have been wearing. Not worn them since last winter and I ended up with a blister under my big toe, in the soft part near the joint with my sole. It's not painful this morning, but obviously I shall be keeping an eye on it.
Photos are of Marazion and St Michael's Mount with a rather dodgy horizon line. I used to have software to correct this, but lost it when I got my laptop as it was on a disk and my laptop doesn't have a disk drive.
Not much on today except a grocery shop - this usually involves 2 supermarkets. But deffo need some green veg! Dinner will be leftovers from last night's roast pork and fennel, with something or other green as we ate up all the carrots roasted with cumin seeds.
@zippyjojo have a look at the BERTIE carb counting course online... I found it very helpful. Congratulations to your hubby, son and friend.
@Eternal422 wishing your SIL a good recovery.
@Grannylorraine congratulations on your HS and glad your granddaughter's party went well
Have a good day all....
See you later. White board and marker pens all packed! 😛Morning All - earlier than I'd like but Wilbur (boxer) clearly not in the new time zone yet. I would have ignored him for a bit but we have guests staying and their room is above him. 7.6 this morning. Gave myself 5 units last night having worked out rough carb content of supper which included an individual apple & blackberry crumble that I'd made (I say made, I make the stewed fruit but I cheat with Aunt Bessie's crumble mix). Yesterday I went out of my way to drive and park near the local blackberries on may way back from shopping and I precariously balanced and reach to get the last ones which would at least add colour to the pudding if not much depth. Came home, putting them in my mini saucepan on the hob and then stupidly took something out to our barn and got distracted by a packing box. Wandered back in about 30 minutes later and before I'd got to the kitchen I suddenly remembered the blackberries - needless to say they were inedible and my pan is taking some serious work with wire wool. So when I made the puddings I rummaged around in a freezer bag of summer fruits and found about 9 blackberries in there, but it was enough to make it more interesting. I'm off to meet @eggyg later so watch out if your ears are burning 😉
