If there aren't enough people for that date can it be changed? Or have some people already bought train tickets?

It looks like robert@fm has already booked his coach. Still a few weeks to go! Come on people, have a day out in lovely Brum! (Well, a day in the Briar Rose!🙂)

Ah right, come on then folks - anyone who is nervous please don't be. I remember being nervous the first meet I went to but it's great - honestly. It's really informal and relaxed, come and go as you please and it's lovely to actually meet people from on here. Like I say if it wasn't for this dratted wedding I'd be there!

Giving this a *nudge* 🙂 Anyone else coming along? Hard to believe this has been one of our most popular meets in recent years, where is everyone?

M is so busy with work that so as much as we can we are trying to keep the weekends just for us and Susie so I won't be going to the forum meet. But the ones that I have been to before have been great 🙂

Will we get anybody to come or will this have to be called off?

It's not looking promising is it Paul? :( I think we need to rethink how we arrange the forum meets as interest does seem to have waned a lot over the past few months.

OK, since there seems to be little interest in this I will cancel it :( We'll have to see what we can do for future meets so they can benefit more people. Nothing wrong with small groups of course, I have attended quite a few with half a dozen attendees or so, and they have been most enjoyable, but I do think there needs to be a minimum number so that it is worthwhile for people travelling some distance. I know this one has coincided with some of our regular attendees having prior engagements, myself included, but maybe it is also because times are tight and the forum is a bit quieter than in previous years - let's see what we can do to ramp up the enthusiasm! 🙂

That's sad I was looking forward to my first one but with so few able to be there it makes sense.

There'll be one in London in November if you fancy a day out 🙂 Not too bad to get to from Brum, or Manchester the week after (both for our 6th birthday celebrations 🙂)

Just wanted to say that I've actually had a nice day at the wedding I didn't want to go to!! I managed to juggle spending time with Paul and also spending time with my sister and her boyfriend whilst Paul and the boyfriend managed to ignore each other! I am exhausted now as I don't think you realise how stressful it actually is and how much you worry about these occasions when there is friction. The wedding went well and now I'm off to bed. Mission accomplished!
