apparently i have the flu ...but i had my Flu jab a while back ?...😡
 
There are different strains of the flu virus. It is only possible to be vaccinated against one strain of flu so we get it for the one most people are likely to get each year, and hopefully if you get another strain it wont be so bad. Well at least that is how it was explained to me.

It's as Caroline says, it seems you have been very unlucky :( I hope that you don't suffer too much and get well soon 🙂
 
Get well soon am im always flummexed when i hear someone say they have the flu after they have just had the jab,but now Caroline says that i uderstand now

It's likely that your flu jab has made it a lot milder, since from what I've heard the full blown flu would have you bed-ridden for a good few days and you wouldn't be in the mood for typing 🙂

I'm sure it doesn't feel very mild though and hope you soon recover.

thanks folks ..just woken up after sleeping all afternoon fortunately it was my manager who had sent me to the gp after poping in to see me this morning ..so she has covered the shop today but i cant tomorrow so im in whatever ....😡
 
There's a saying that if you can't get out of bed to pick up a ?20 note on the floor in the bedroom, you haven't got full-blown flu. But that doesn't recognise the responsibilities some people have for family members, jobs etc. Hope you make it through the day - flask of hot drink behind the till might help to limit trips to make drinks?

It's true that no vaccine is 100% effective ie no vaccine prevents the infection in every person who received it, but it usually reduces seriousness of infection in those who get it. All a bit more complicated with flu that has so many strains, so vaccine makers have to predict which strains to include in each year's vaccine, ahead of time so the vaccines are ready for mass campaign.

well..survived only 1/2 day yesterday then had to come home i hurt hurt hurt all over, couldnt think straight was dropping things couldnt hear properly😱 had cover for today so not working till monday 🙂 slept and tried to take it easy ...🙄 and feeling better but very washed out !

It's a nasty thing :( How have your BG levels been? Hope you improve over the weekend and are fighting fit by Monday 🙂
 
my bs levels have been a little up ...as things had been pretty steady recently.. ...but nothing really to concern me ....had a chinese tonght hehee😉
