A TEENAGER proved diabetes would not hold her back as she walked barefoot over hot coals to raise awareness.
Cloe Waterford, aged 17, bravely volunteered to be the first to walk barefoot over hot coals at a Type 1 diabetes charity event.
The teen, who is a youth ambassador for JDRF, was one of 11 to take part in the charity’s event at Boringdon Park Golf Club.
“There were meant to be 30 of us but 11 of us ended up doing it,” said the Coombe Dean sixth form student.
