A nine-year-old boy is getting on his bike to help fight diabetes.
George Tookey will cycle from his home in Blunham to Bedford and back again to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
He wants to help the charity because his six-year-old sister, Isla, has Type 1 diabetes.
The John Donne Lower School pupil has raised nearly ?500 so far and he hopes to raise even more from the bike ride tomorrow (Saturday, March 30).
His father David Tookey said: ?He wanted to do something and he came up with this idea. He cycles a reasonable amount anyway; he loves his bike.
