Hi all
Next year (April) I'm hoping to take part in some Diabetes UK training called 3D. 3D is a weekend training course for diabetics aged 18-30 and is designed to equip them to be able to run (volunteer) training and discussion groups for other young people in their local area. The training is something I've been wanting to do for a while but they prefer to train two people from each area so that they can then set up groups, deliver events etc after the training. I know a few people who have done the course and set up groups in different areas and it seems to have been really successful. Unfortunately all the people I know who may qualify (they don't strictly speaking have to be diabetic although I think it's preferred) are in jobs that would make it too difficult for them to join me.
So really I was wondering if there are any other 18-30s in the Norfolk area, or you know of any, who may be interested in finding out more. I'm also going to go through my DSN at the diabetes clinic to see if she knows of anyone.
Thanks in advance!

(PS- I appreciate that there can be concerns of someone you don't know online asking to meet up with other young people! I promise I am totally legit and I'm happy to point you in the direction of the website for the training and whatever necessary to prove I'm ok!!!)🙂
