I have natural yoghurt most days with some wanuts and berries,Can I ask has anyone discovered one at a good price amongst the big supermarkets,I can get to most of them, but not Asda,so low sugar and high fat,I was buying yeo valley 150 g which costs me £17 a month which is a lot on my miniscule budget, that's so much more expensive than the days of cornflakes/all bran etc

Lidl do a I kg bucket of Milbona Greek style for about £1.36.

(Their Alesto walnuts are also a good price.)

Hi thanks that's very good,I have to cycle there to get chicken this week,so I will get some of that, and I had been looking for walnuts at a good price which had been a task in itself

Make sure you choose the full fat version rather than the low fat, the packaging is quite similar, easy to pick up the wrong one!

Hi I got the full fat yoghurt,I located the walnuts and will buy those when the more expensive Sainsburys walnuts that I have are done,I have heard people talk about protein rolls,i couldn't remember if it was Aldi or Lidl,I did see a space on the bakery rack where the fresh bakery items are that said low GI rolls,is that waht people mean by protein rolls?I shall get down earlier another day if so.
I like that the yoghurt has a nice secure lid to keep it fresher

protein rolls are Lidl but I'm not sure they do them anymore, they did stop them for a while and there was uproar on here about it, the low gi rolls are completely different and relatively high carb xx

@Kaylz that's a shame,I have a ham and tomato roll on my mind

Have you tried Kefir as against yoghurt?

Used to buy Sainsburys live, full fat, greek style yoghurt. Was very nice, not quite as thick and creamy as Yeo Valley but perfectly acceptable, and very cheap, think around 70p per 500g pot. With a few mixed berries was great.
Dont buy it now because there is no sainsburys here.
