My first check up with the DSN since diagnosis went well yesterday.
As I had already seen the doctor last week due to blood pressure problems I had already had my blood test results.
Anyway BP was already down a bit 6 days on the new dose.
Hba1c was 7 so medication on hold as they will give me another 3 months to try and get it down to 6.5.
I have lost 26.5llbs :D since diagnosis and feet seem ok.
I have to chase up the Expert course again myself and they will chase up the hospital for the eye test.

Hi Lynda all sounding good hun, good work on the weight loss, hope you manage to get on the course theres a couple off here doing it at the minute and i did it back in jan/feb and it was brilliant.

Conrats on the weight loss since diagnosis! I hope that you can get your hba1c down x

Good stuff Lynda - great weight loss and good that the BP is coming down already (hope mine is too!). Great that you have been given more time to try and get things down without the drugs, keep up the good work! 🙂

Thanks everyone and tbh I am not sure I could have got this far if I hadn't have discovered this forum and had advice and support from so many lovely people 🙂

Well done on your HbA1c and weight loss 🙂
