Started using peas and carrots in my stews after they said they were low BS

The often-mentioned Rule-of-Thumb is to pick things that are under 10% carb and both peas and carrots are in that bracket. I'm not a big fan of peas but I regularly have carrots, although I do aim for no more than a 100g portion (7.3g carb).

If you eat 1.4kg of peas every day, then you’re reaching the borderline of low carb/moderate carb. If you’re having a normal portion they’re low carb as a normal 80g portion of peas is only 7.4g carb.
