Good grief, you would have to eat an awful lot of wrinkled peas to reduce your risk of T2. In any event, many beans contain those complex starches in higher amount. Whoever carried out the study must have shares in Bachelors.

Might cheer up the Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas enthusiasts, mind.
 
One bonus is, they won’t roll around the plate so much.
