Screenshot_20210722-181857.png Got my lunchtime ratio to sort as I keep having to snack two hours of dinner. dB nurses want me to up my basal to 9 for 3 days and see what happens. So I've done 3 days and it's worked

It makes all the difference in the world when your basal dose is right doesn't it! Unfortunately it rarely stays the same for long and you need to tweak it again but when you can't figure out why your levels are wrong and nothing works as it should, 9/10 times it is because your basal dose isn't correct for you anymore.

I notice you have quite a big spike at breakfast time. How long in advance do you prebolus for breakfast?
Many of us find that on a morning out bolus insulin needs more of a head start before we eat. For me it can be as long as an hour but that is extreme and I wouldn't suggest you try that, but if you start by increasing the time by 5 mins more each time until you see that peak come down it can make a big difference not just to your Libre graph but also to how you feel. I used to go up to 15 and then come plummeting down to 5 in the space of a couple of hours and it was not pleasant. Now I usually have a slight dip at breakfast rather than a peak which is OK since I often wake up a little higher than I would like.

Anyway, congratulations on your 83% TIR and just something to think about if you wanted to reduce that breakfast spike a bit.

I pre bolus 25 mins for brekkie, That was cos I wasn't as mobile as I had anticipated first thing after brekkie and I had knocked half a unit off thinking I was going to be busy cleaning our village hall. Just miss judged it. Works slowly coming back so I've got those considerations now . Lol
