I have literally just got back from my diabetes appointment (having given blood for HbA1c last week) and - what a result!!!!! It was 7.0, the best result I have EVER had since diagnosis 11 years ago! The last few years I have had over 8 and was getting very disspirited, but thanks to help and tips on here I have really worked at it to get this fantastic result!

Now all I have to do is reduce the spread (SD = 3.9) of results, less big highs and fewer hypos, then I'll really be satsfied.

Thank you, thank you everyone who has actively given help, and those who don't know that I have read what they have written and thought, oh yes, that might work for me too.....

so happy!

Excellent! What wonderful news! And I'm sure, in time, you will learn how to smooth out those numbers 🙂

Wow that is fantastic, well done!!!!

Oh brilliant and congratulations that all your hard work has paid off. Well done.

Brilliant news Heasandford 🙂 Fantastic result!! Couldnt be more pleased for you. And thanks for all the help and support you give others too 🙂

It's one thing reading posts, anyone can do that. It's another thing altogether putting what you've read into practice, which is what you've done, and I couldn't be more pleased that it's worked so well. A big pat on the back for you. Well done! XXXXX

Well done 🙂

I feel it is easier to come on here than 'bothering' the medical lot, although I haven't really had any to bother until now! I shall be singing your praises to the people on the course I start next week too.

Thanks again to you all again!
