Hello im new here had diabetes for over 15 years im worried as for last 2 days my level are between 10 and 16 I have had a few high carbs I don't know what to do do I ring 111

Hi Amandsjayne, it could be a few things, I would give them a quick call just to relax you a little.10-16 is high, they won’t recommend hospital until your up around 24.but you don’t say if you are T1 or T2, the difference would have different possibilities. Are you getting sick, maybe a cold or something like that at stressful about something ??

Welcome to the forum @Amandajayne

Why not give the Diabetes UK helpline a call so that you can have a bit of a chat and get some pointers?

The number is at the top of every forum page, and they will be able to ask some questions to better understand your situation.

How do you usually treat your diabetes? Do you take any medication?
