A bit of a silly worry to be honest. But today I planned to have this tortellini frozen lunch I bought, its gluten free and always exciting when I find something new... I have to buy it!!

Anyway, its got almost 60g carbs, and its pasta... with 29g of fat. So here I am at 10:30 in the morning worrying about when it will spike me when I come round to eating it.

Doesn't seem fair that I should have to think like this! I'm going for a short walk, about 45mins, to uni so perhaps that might help but except that i'm sitting round on my butt all day yet again. Might also get some diet coke or sugar free irn bru that I found recently, as I am sure the sweetness in that helps - though probably not something to do regularly :\

I though that i'd post this here, because I know your the only lot that are gonna know how I feel!! Very frustrating feeling, sometimes I wish I could be a real student and eat pasta and pizza everyday without the fact well a) i can't actually eat them (i can but freefrom !) and B) i'm diabetic!

I thought if was Computer Studies students that only ate Pizza? or was that Quiche.

I have to admit that I can't recall anyone in my flat having a pizza. A few of them did eat pasta all the time. Me and a few others were more likely to do a (jacket) potato 🙂

But yes, I understand the feeling - working in an office where I'm on my bum most of the day and watching all the others eating things that would send me nicely high (it's a friday so the staff canteen is serving potato wedges, baked beans and fish).

IT students (and professionals) definitely beer and pizza.

It does sometimes bug me that I can't just have what I want when I fancy it. But I know the cost so most of the time I can resist the temptaiton.

Haha, thank you guys.

Well the news is that I am at 5.9 almost 4 hours afterwards.... i'll keep checking but usually its relatively high then just gets higher. Maybe I have conquered it. hmm 🙂

I haven't cracked pasta and high fat yet, but then have only been practising for 39 years and 3 months so early days ..... ROFL
