Lots of stuff going on for WDD! A lot of people (me included) are writing a Facebook diary of what we need to do to keep our blood sugars under control today, so our non-diabetic friends can understand a bit more of what it all entails 🙂

Plus, our brilliant member Shelley is raising money for JDRF by wearing a TypeOnesie to work today! Please sponsor her if you can, she's very brave (and maybe just a little unhinged! :D)

No, I did send in a complaint to the BBC. You'd think they might acknowledge something that affects 3 million people in this country, plus their friends and family, not forgetting the historical fact that the discovery of insulin, celebrated today on Dr Banting's birthday, is the single most important medical discovery of the past 100 years.
