Well, after many of WFH, there is a sort of routine. Foodwise I decided to eat the same amount of stuff that I would do when at work. I do find that hard, on reading other threads,I drink water if I feel like a trip to the fridge. However, I have to admit after two years without and for no apparent reason I decided to see what the damage 1/2 a banana would do. I was pleasantly surprised, it came in at a very respectable 4.7. Just wanted to know, doubt if they will be a regular part of my diet. Never thought I would miss the office. But there you go.No end to learning.

Glad that you have found a routine that works for you Sharon.

I would love 1/2 a banana but I have seen what it does to my levels before.
How nice to find that it is on your list of possibilities.

Once a year I treat myself to half a grapefruit and enjoy every single mouthful.
It apparently clashes with my meds, and my GP suggested that I just leave them out for that day.
A good plan and such a great.

Sounds like you have found a good rhythm @Sharron1

And I agree that occasionally trying small quantities of things to see how you react is very worthwhile - the body changes over time and checking what you ‘know’ is worthwhile.

Thank you. I would like to say I was acting in a responsible manner. But in truth I saw a picture of a bunch of bananas and that got me thinking... also apologise for the double posting

What a sensible GP. Enjoy the treat when it next makes the annual appearance

Well - nobody's going to drop dead from not taking a tablet for 24 hours OTOH I don't and haven't ever eaten grapefruit very often anyway! But if I wanted to eat it more often I'd experiment for myself.
