Hi all, my blood sugars haven't been in control as I would like and this has lead to me feeling horrible, dizzy, faint etc. when my blood sugars are at a normal reading and me feeling fine when my blood sugars were high.

This made it so whilst I was working unless my blood sugar was high I couldn't get through a day of work, my job now has had to come to an end so I can sort my blood sugars out and get them back to normal, I've got to see my doctor on Monday, my question is is there anything I will be able to claim as I simply cannot work atm, I'm also on anti depressents.

Thanks for any help 😱

For benefits advice it might pay you to go into the job centre or citizens advice place. They will have a better idea of anything you can get when you are unable to work than your doctor who is primarily concerned with medical things.

You can claim Incapacity Benefit if your doctor agrees you aren't fit to 'seek work' which you need to be in order to sign on and claim Job Seekers Allowance.

Or IC may be called Employment Support Allowance now. I forget which!

Incapacity benefit is no more it's something called ESA now.
